Hey,

Heres the score, i applied for BKSA membership around 1.5 months ago. I paid online and sent my letter off the day after. The issue i have now is i have yet to recieve proof back from them but i know that once they receive my money + letter the insurance is active.

Now the issue i have is i wish to sign up so i can kitesurf at hayling after i have done my level 2 iko hopefully this weekend, am i going to be able to sign up or am i going to have to wait untill the bksa send my my details?

Realy hoping i can join ASAP as my spare time on "study leave" is prime kitesurfing time!

unfortunately at the moment the insurance part of the BKSA is dealt with by a seperate body of which they have no control over
If you have a copy of the form you printed off then you will have no problem joining hayling

I will contact them and see if there is a way I can check membership

Me and a friend are just getting into kite surfing and have done our bksa level 2 training. we want to come down and check out hayling to see what it's like for kite surfing but don't want to have to fork out for hka membership at this stage (as there are so many clubs that all seem to cost to join). we can obviously arrange bksa insurance but can you tell me if that's good enough to give hayling a try while we decide?...
