I am relatively new to the sport having completed my IKO training late last year. I am now up and riding reasonable well and its time to upgrade my board, a 158 naish TT of somewhat old design. I am 80 Kg and use carabrena 12m switchblade and 9m crossbow. I have tried a friend’s slingshot 147 SX and instantly note how much better upwind this board is but I believe this board (the SX) is probably to large for general use and the transitions and jumps I am now attempting. What I am looking for is any advise on what board to go for ideally with the upwind ability of the SX but smaller.
